Overview

First American Payment systems is currently looking for an enthusiastic closer to fill our inside sales position. The Corporate Sales Representative will be responsible for selling new accounts generated from a number of internal sources and well as cross selling First American’s value added services. In addition, this position performs a number of customer service related activities to support the merchant base.

Responsibilities

  • Merchant Relationships
    • Conducts a consultative analysis/ prepare and deliver a proposal for the merchant opportunities received through corporate sales.
    • Sells new accounts (referred by partner’s) to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
    • Receives and produces sales via telephone from prospective customers.
    • Consistently gains knowledge of company's products and services in order to facilitate sales efforts.
    • Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
    • Provides follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products and/or services provided.
    • Acts as Relationship Manager to assigned Strategic Partner’s.
    • Goal of signing 25 credit deals a month

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry/company experience.
  • Bilingual Candidates a plus!
  • Encourages open communication by listening attentively and actively. Seeks to fully understand information from many points of view.
  • Uses superior customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information.
  • Is a compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings, easily adapting messages to match the audience.
  • Adeptly explains features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full product line. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the competitive market.
  • Determines decision-making criteria based on priorities; making effective decisions with limited time and information.
  • Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical.
  • Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manages customer expectations.
  • Places primary importance on delivering superior customer service.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Dedicated to exceeding quality standards and providing products and services of the highest caliber.
  • Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks. Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
  • PC proficiency and strong skills in MS Word and Excel.
  • Prior sales role highly preferred
