Overview

Help First American Payment Systems continue to be a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as an IT Project Manager. This role will manage large and/or complex IT projects throughout the organization and its subsidiaries along with manage a team of Quality Assurance Analysts.

The Project Manager will manage large and/or complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Management of technical and other operational initiatives
  • Responsible for the plan, execution, control, and close processes within the project life cycle, including defining scope and requirements, setting up schedules and milestones, managing resources and timelines, and ensuring delivery of desired outcomes
  • Works closely with management and business partners to align objects and balance resources
  • Compiles and maintains all elements of project plans, including schedules, costs, work activities, resources, risks, and communication management
  • Provides leadership to projects, outlining responsibilities and offering ongoing direction
  • Manages ongoing communication of project status and any escalating issues
  • Maintains consistent and timely project documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing timelines

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing highly-technical projects
  • Strong experience using project management methodology and processes
  • Ability to understand and incorporate both technical and business language/terms.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills including the ability to interact with a wide variety of team members, from front line to executive.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • PC proficiency
