Overview

Help First American Payment Systems continue to be a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as a New Application Processor, Level I.  The hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and sorting source documents, identifying, and interpreting data to be entered.
  • Entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into various computer networks following format displayed on screen, and entering necessary codes.
  • Contacting preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Responding and following up on all pending documents.
  • Making necessary corrections to information entered.
  • Filing, copying, and routing source documents after entry to various departments.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding entered data.

Qualifications

  • Has a sound accuracy record on previous data entry work.
  • Superb phone skills, excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft products.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Manage time effectively and develop work plans to prioritize competing and interdependent tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Has at least one to two years of application processing experience.
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job.
  • Strong work ethic with a great attendance history!
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail by approaching work in a meticulous and thorough manner.
  • Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Conscientiously and methodically approaches work. Sees tasks through to completion.
