Help First American Payment Systems continue to be a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as a Compliance Analyst. As a Compliance Analyst in the Merchant and Card Brand industry, you will be responsible for assisting in all functions of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.


  • Manage American Express Gateway Transaction Flow including ensuring timely processing of rejected transactions.
  • Manage Brand Data Integrity requirements and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Co-Manage First American’s Level 4 merchant compliance plan.
  • Create tracking reports for First American’s management and First American’s sponsor bank.
  • Develop policies and procedures for use by First American’s sales channels and internal departments relative to level 4 merchants PCI compliance.
  • Interact with vendors providing compliance services to merchants.
  • Review compliance of Level 3 merchants quarterly.
  • Monitor Brand requirements and programs for mandated changes relative to software, terminal and installation entities.
  • Ensure processes and reporting related to registered entities is kept up to date.
  • Develop monitoring programs, where necessary, to ensure participation is within industry requirements.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Credit card processing experience is preferred.   However, ideal candidate must have at least 8 years combined education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Card Associations requirements for merchants, VARS and other industry participants.
  • Working knowledge of transaction flows and the requirements surrounding data integrity requirements.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Working knowledge of the Card Association rules and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret contractual billing data and apply in various scenarios.
  • Must be able to interpret large amounts of data.
  • Highly developed Excel skills.
  • Experience in summarizing technical documents for management.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality requirements related to the competitive data required to complete duties.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment.
  • Act as the liaison with other departments within First American.
  • Dependable and self-motivated.
