  • Overview

    First American Payment Systems, headquartered in downtown Fort Worth, is currently seeking a Sr. Product Manager to join the team! This position will be the subject matter expert on the organization’s products and will manage large and/or complex product projects.

    As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, control, and close processes within the product development lifecycle and will stay up to date on the market for First American merchant services products. This role will report directly to the EVP of Business Development Strategy.


    • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and products.
    • Work with Sr. Management to create product plans and roadmaps.
    • Prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of R&D and market research.
    • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
    • Manages ongoing communication of product management status and any escalating issues.
    • Manages time effectively and prioritizes completing tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Analyzes complex information, makes sound recommendations and rapidly learns new skills.
    • Is excited and energized by innovations in technology, especially within the merchant services industry


    • 5 to 8 years’ experience in product lifecycle management.
    • 5 years’ experience in the payments/merchant services industry preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Background in software development/program management.
    • Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical.
    • Experience in organizational management and communication
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong problem solving skills and technical aptitude
    • PC proficiency
    • Excellent written, verbal, and group facilitation communication skills
    • Some travel required.
