Overview

Help First American Payment Systems continue to be a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as the Business Analyst. This position will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. It will also be responsible for analyzing business processes in order to recommend potential solutions and assist in project plans and work processes.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, analyze and recommend cost effective solutions to address changes in the business environment, compliance specification, regulatory entities
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments or customers and technical development team, fostering a partnership relationship to effectively manage project or end user expectations.
  • Schedule, coordinate and lead information-gathering meetings regarding business requirements
  • Assist in the project management of small and/or short timeframe projects and the administration of the tools used to track and report business analysis and programming work effort
  • Gather business requirements; define scope and objectives and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing of application development enhancements and mapping data elements
  • Ensure a smooth transition from the Project Management Team to Business Support during implementation.
  • Uses both business and technical expertise to develop and maintain strong relationships with other teams and departments.
  • Works closely with all involved project parties to manage issues, scheduling, etc., as they arise.
  • Must be able to drive to deliverables independently,
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Establish, follow and enforce documentation standards.
  • Proactive personality with a proven track record of delivering on responsibilities and tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred with 3-5 years associated work experience.
  • Merchant and/or credit card brand compliance experience
  • Superior analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively alone or in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
  • Proactive personality with a proven track record of delivering on responsibilities and tasks.
