We are currently seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Analyst. This position’s primary role will be product and software testing and will also participate in the building of a standard foundation of processes, tools, and practices to support both Agile and Waterfall testing processes across multiple business units and technologies.
Develop, execute and maintain test cases, test scripts and test plans.
Document, report, and track defects to resolution.
Recreate and isolate issues reported in defects.
Develop and maintain test data.
Implement & execute automated testing scripts/process.
Provide product enhancement recommendations inclusive of documenting desired outcome.
3 years’ demonstrated experience in manual software testing of web-based, mobile device POS (Point of Sale), REST and SOAP API and payments applications using both EMV and traditional transaction processing.
Experience writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts at a level that enables automation (step by step including expected result).
Experience with test data setup, execution, and presentation/reporting of results.
Experience with Test Management tools like HP ALM Quality Center.
Experience with Defect Management tools like HP ALM Quality Center.
Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to analyze and troubleshoot potential software defects.
Ability to collaborate with QA manager and cross-functional team members to improve QA capabilities & services to drive speed to market.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and function well under pressure and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access.
Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile Software Development Lifecycle and Software Testing Lifecycle methods.
Familiarity with Relational Databases and basic SQL Queries.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field.
