  • Overview

    The Financial Analyst will provide corporate financial reporting and analysis and reports to the manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).  This FP&A function is responsible for analyzing current and prospective business activities as well as provide financial reporting to senior management.  This group works closely with senior management across our business functions to analyze current trends or issues and plan for future initiatives.  This analyst will support the organization’s financial reporting function to the Manager, including but not limited to, compiling financial statistics and information, analyzing current trends in business metrics, and disseminate financial reports throughout the organization. 


    • Performs analysis and compile key business metrics used in our financial reporting package and decision support materials.
    • Compiles monthly and quarterly financial information and statistics into various, highly visible presentations to our senior management and investors.
    • Demonstrative abilities or experience in developing, interpreting, and implementing financial information/statistics, financial concepts, and financial reporting controls.
    • Monitor trends in key business drivers such as margins, account attrition, and acquisition costs to identify cause and effect relationships of business decisions.
    • Gathers and analyze large volumes of data to prepare analysis summaries for decision evaluation.
    • Works closely with operational departments and IT to validate source data and correct source data issues
    • Model cost structure changes to identify effects in changing investments in key business segments.
    • Use BI tools to drive standardization, simplification, and automation of analyzes and reporting.
    • Perform ad-hoc project analysis as assigned


    The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a proven ability to handle large volumes of information, understand complex Excel worksheets and formulas, and be continually focused on data integrity and accuracy.  Therefore, any such prior work experience in a corporate finance setting is highly desired.  This candidate should be able to work independently from the team, be inquisitive, and most importantly enjoy problem solving.

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, mandatory
    • 1-3 years prior work experience with a proven track record of success in the following areas: 1) FP&A 2) corporate finance
    • Must be able to demonstrate above average MS Excel and Access skills
    • Experience using BI tools such as Board, Tableau, or Adaptive Insights
    • Must be able to demonstrate experience in leading and managing quantitative analyzes
    • Effective communication/presentation skills
    • Comfortable with fast-paced environment and to changing priorities
