    We are hiring for a Quality Assurance Analyst (Team Lead) for our office in Downtown Fort Worth, TX.  This position will participate in the building of a standard foundation of processes, tools, and practices to support both Agile and Waterfall testing. The role will provide quality assurance testing and payment processing business expertise and contribute to test data setup, test plans, use cases, test scripts, and test artifacts for testing solutions required to support IT, operations and business needs. This position will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle. Deliverables must result in the reduction of risk and higher quality. The Quality Assurance Analyst must also build strong relationships with a team of professionals, including testers, project managers, developers, business, and management to deliver the best quality products to our clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to accomplish the Quality Assurance Analyst III primary responsibilities successfully. 
    • Analyze, discuss and take action to improve QA test planning and execution efficiency across all projects. 
    • Provide QA approval notifications at the conclusion of testing for all projects. 
    • Perform Defect SOP audits and work with the QA Team to improve compliance. 
    • Attend project-related meetings including BRD reviews and keep QA aware of upcoming projects. 
    • Work with the QA Team to review and adjust Level of Effort (LOE) documents to ensure accurate planning. 
    • Update the BES QA Wiki including “QA Priorities & Status” and “QA Resource Planning” documents to be current and precise. 
    • Remove QA Team impediments and escalate significant blockers. 
    • Partner with Accounting to create and manage Time Tracker records so the QA team can track project time.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ experience in manual and automated software testing of various applications including but not limited to web, mobile, database and API platforms. 
    • Intermediate knowledge of payment processing business and technology. 
    • Experience writing test plans, test cases and test scripts. 
    • Experience with test data setup, test quality reviews, test execution, and presentation of test results. 
    • Experience with Test Management tools like HP Mercury Quality Center. 
    • Experience with Defect Management tools like HP Mercury Quality Center. 
    • Detailed orientation with strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines; function well under pressure and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access. 
    • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. 
    • Familiarity with Relational Databases and basic SQL Queries.


    DESIRED REQUIREMENTS 

    • Experience with HP Quality Center and SOAP/REST /LOAD API testing & automation tools. 
    • 3+ years’ experience leading or managing a software team.


    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

    • Bachelor's degree preferably in information systems, computer science, business or a related field.
